Our client based within the Telecommunications industry is currently looking for a number two for the Group Financial Controller. Due to an internal move they require someone to manage the accounts and reporting function for their overseas subsidiaries. Duties will include the analysis and interpretation of results and other financial analysis as dictated by senior management, consolidation of accounts and assisting with budgetary issues. You will have close contact with all the subsidiaries and will be required to travel abroad several times a year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who qualified within the last couple of years and is looking for a new challenge. You will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to liaise at all levels with both financial and non-financial managers. Long-term opportunities to move up to an FC role within the next 18 months.
